Apple has announced that China is set to see iPad being introduced in the country on September 17 when there’s still no word on when it’ll arrive in Middle East. Apple is expanding in China also in other ways with new stores just opened in Shanghai in addition to an existing one in Beijing.
This happens at a time when Apple is increasing production of iPad it seems like the Middle East is again loosing out. The company recently passed two million iPads manufactured per month and is on track for three million per month later this year, according to a Morgan Stanley analyst.
iPad will sell in China for $588 (16GB), $706 (32GB) and $824 (64GB).
Even the rumor mill is conspicuously silent about when iPad would officially arrive in our region.
